William F. Hull photographs, 1985-1996.

This collection consists of images taken by photographer Bill Hull in the course of his duties at the Atlanta Historical Society. Mr. Hull frequently photographed areas in Atlanta in support of research, exhibitions, and programs at the institution. Included are images of geographic locations in the Metropolitan Atlanta region, including Buckhead, Cabbagetown, Midtown and downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Images of geographic locations show commercial buildings, parks, and street views of important intersections. The collection also contains images of several events such as parades, highway and stadium construction, the Democratic National Convention of 1988, and celebrations during the 1991 World Series.

William Fulmer Hull (1949- ) is a professional photographer in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Hull moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1980. In 1983 he was hired as a photographer for the Atlanta Historical Society where he remained employed until 2001. Hull moved back to Chattanooga that same year.
